Our library houses a collection of more than 15,000 books, comprising subject books, dictionaries, periodicals, reference books, fictions, non-fictions and Curriculum based topics. Our Library endeavors to provide students with opportunities to learn how to utilize reading materials in a variety of formats and to access information and a variety of e-books using ipads. Students enhance their reading skills every day through the effective use of DEAR (Drop Everything and Read) period.
Games and sports form an integral part of the curriculum. End hours of games in te evening is compulsory for all resident students, and optional for day scholars. The school will have athletic trac.
Student's participation in school management is encouraged and they are trained to shoulder responsibility of holding different offices. "ACTIVITY CLUBS" and the “HOUSE SYSTEM" enables them to assimilate knowledge of management techniques. On the occasion of various function in school, students are actively involved in the managementofevents.

There are teacher-in-charges called the housemasters assisted by other teachers to guide and lead students. A competent system has been developed in such a way that the selected House-Captains and Vice-Captains from the students take over the responsibility of organizing various house and school functions in the school. In other words the students are actively involved in the smooth management of events. Our Aim is to train each individual child to address an audience as well as to cater leadership qualities in them. Inter-house and inter school participation ensures optimum exposure to learn self-expression and confidence.
GIPS indoor School Auditorium is something that we surely holds as a pride. The recently constructed and renovated Indoor Auditorium is furnished with modern Audio Visual equipment. With seating capacity of 1500 at a time, GIPS Auditorium hosts numerous event including award functions and Inter School Competitions which gives a variety of exposure to the students in showcasing their talents and groom their inborn virtues.
Play is a natural activity for every young child. It provides many opportunities for children to learn and grow physically, mentally and socially. If play is the child’s work then toys are the child’s tools. They are an important learning tool for kids. Children use toys to learn about themselves and things around them. Toys aim at enhancing learning throughout all the developmental areas. Toys provide children the opportunity to investigate and explore. Children can learn about size, shapes, colour, numbers, letters of the alphabet and much more.
At GIPS we have Little Kingdom with variety of toys and educational games.
